This fortnightly group alternates with Numbers and Stuff. Joining both groups counts as one choice, however it is possible to join only one of them.
The group will explore any science or technology topic that interests members. Chris was a member of the separate science and technology groups whose leaders have “retired” and offered to coordinate this combined group.

This fortnightly group alternates with Science and Technology. Joining both groups counts as one choice, however it is possible to join only one of them.
Without assuming any prior knowledge, this group can address any aspect of mathematics, from the way grandchildren now do long multiplication to A level. Any member will be welcome to suggest topics, or take a lead for part of a meeting. This will not be compulsory! Maths is sometimes a hierarchical subject and a report is sent after each meeting so everyone is kept in touch with the content. Chris leads, and we help one another. Puzzles of a mathematical/logical nature will be included in each meeting.
